One of the most
common requests we get is to provide ‘a little entertainment for after
dinner’. Here are the most popular options, but we have literally
hundreds of solutions. Just contact us for full details.
Casino
Quality full sized tables, run by
professional staff with authentic gaming chips give this Casino the edge.
A wide choice of games are available:-
Roulette,
Blackjack, Wheel of Fortune, Craps / Dice,
Poker
We usually recommend two tables
initially, with one extra table for every 70 guests.
Giant Slot Car Racing
Always
a huge hit, appeals to all, and is one of the most original after dinner
activities. The races may start in the minds of players as "just a bit
of fun", but quickly turn into serious sport. Our 6-lane and 8-lane
tracks are built to club specifications for superb competitive racing,
and our 2 and 4 lane systems are ideal when you are short of space. The
races give light hearted competition, and décor, music and trophies can
be added as options where required.
Mini Boots
Two teams of 3 play against each
other in a football game with a difference. This game has to be seen to
be believed. Radio controlled football boots on a waist high pitch! With
skill, teamwork and tactics it is possible to use the boot to push the
ball into the goal of the opposition. Not an easy game but this seems to
make the players even more determined to succeed.
Traditional Pub Games
Unique traditional Victorian pub
games! A wide choice guaranteed to entertain even the fussiest of guests!
Choose from Aunt Sally, Splat the Rat, 18’ Skittle Alley, Tosser, Hi-Lo,
Shove Ha’penny, Bar Billiards, Horse Shoes, and many others.
Victorian Side Stalls
Wide choice of traditional Victorian
side stalls.

Race Night
Our very lively compere will create
a fantastic atmosphere. The races are run on a giant screen, and bets
are placed for the winners. Uniquely the races are sound sensitive, so
the horses will run faster the louder they are cheered for. Why not
decorate the room with a racing theme and make the most of this exciting
evening.
Quiz
We all like to think we’re smarter
than all the others, plus we all love to test ourselves anew thanks to
the success of TV programmes such as ‘Millionaire’ and ‘The Weakest
Link’. This quiz is great fun, but can also be very demanding. We offer
a wide variety of fun quiz rounds, all of which have been thoroughly
tested and researched.
Giant Games
All of your favourite table top
games are now available as fun Giant Games. Not just Chess and Draughts
and Snakes & Ladders, but Connect 4, Twister, Table Football, Quoits,
Boules, Operation, Ker-Plunk, Battleships, Jenga and a whole lot more.
Arcade Simulators
Really let your
hair down with state of the art entertainment. There are dozens of
different machines to choose from, some are single user, and some can
hold up to 20 people at once. Perfect for special events, they are
extremely popular and games include the ever present Rally Driving, as
well as Skiing, Snowboarding, Surfboarding, TT Motorbikes, Golf, Jet
Skiing, and a range of others from White Water Rafting to Star Wars Pod
Racers. The larger Simulators will give you the full experience of
being driven by a top racing driver, or being piloted through a Meteor
shower!
Mind Reader
Be prepared to be stunned! This is
truly a one off, as the Mind Reader reads the minds and delves into the
Psyche of your guests. Time after time, he will tell them exactly what
image they are thinking of, what picture they have secretly drawn, and
in a grand finale, he will take them through a mind blowing routine that
he himself describes as ‘Mental Russian Roulette!’
Stage Magician
A full and highly
visual stage act which can be adapted to suit any venue. Levitation,
disappearing volunteers, swords scything though magical boxes with
people still inside! We’ve all seen this on TV and here is your chance
to really impress by booking live stage magic. We have over 30 different
magicians to offer, so there is bound to be a show that fits your needs
exactlly.
Giant Inflatables
Great stuff for all
ages and abilities! The modern day giant inflatable games are a
different way to not only have fun but also take part in a little
competitive challenge amongst friends and colleagues. Try your hand at
Bouncy Boxing or Space Hopper racing, or attempt to climb the huge 20’
inflatable mountain! Other ideas could be the Rodeo Bull, Pulsar Laser
Guns, Human Table Football, Inflatable Olympics, a Surf Machine,
Kangaroo Boxing, or the brilliant Bungee Basketball. And the good news
is that all can be tailored to fit the available space or budget.
Game Shows
Take your pick, we have full and
abridged versions of the following Game Shows ready for your call.
The Generation Game
Who’s line is it anyway?
Play your cards right
Catchphrase
Who wants to be a millionaire?
Or why not celebrate the career or
lifetime of someone special with This is your life.
Wacky Waiters
This will certainly
liven up any dinner! These actors dress as waiters and will completely
fool your guests into thinking they are the genuine article (if a little
weird). Fuller details are available upon request, but if you can
imagine being served by a waiter who is – arrogant, sloppy, drunk, an
ex-con, a womaniser, thief etc. etc. then you will begin to get the
picture. Your guests will love this highly original act and will talk
about it afterwards for weeks.
Murder Mystery
Designed for fun, not necessarily
for heavy sleuthing! Complete with a full cast of actors, the
evening begins at the drinks reception with the actors mingling among
the unsuspecting guests. The suspects move from table to table
throughout the meal where they distribute (dis) information and clues to
the guests, and clues will also be verbally given by the actors as they
are quizzed at the tables during dinner.
For Murder Mystery events, we can
call on upon dozens of themes, as well as executive packages involving
some acting roles for a small number of the guests at the dinner.
Fun Themes
We also produce smaller theme
evenings when you do not need to go the ‘whole hog’! These evenings are
superb fun, and quality is not compromised at all, they are merely
smaller versions of their bigger cousins found at the end of this
brochure. Six themes are currently available:-
Pantomime
Great for audience participation
around an evening meal. Just how many Ugly Sisters can the evening take,
prepare for a night filled with Boos & Hisses!
Fawlty Towers
– Join us for a night of antics and capers as Basil and his staff
attempt to make your stay a happy one!
Fright Night
– Dracula, Morticia and Hannibal Lectur are your hosts,
flinch in horror as they recall some of their more palatable tales over
dinner, then watch out for the surprises afterwards.
Bond –
Here all gusts are either a Bond villain or agent! Everyone is involved
as an International crisis breaks out, Bond will need your help if he is
to save the day, but is there enough time?
Gangster
– Due to the delicate nature of the security, all guests will be given
passwords, but will they all get the password right? Watch out
for trouble between the warring ‘families’.
Medieval
– The Baron announces that due to the impending battle in the morning,
the banquet is to be a very special one. The fun begins with sketches,
songs and revelry with full audience participation.
